The City of Yokkaichi is located near the geographical center of Japan.  With the Suzuka Mountains to the west and Ise Bay to the east, Yokkaichi enjoys a varied natural environment. It boasta a rich history as well, having flourished as a trading post and way station on the Tikaido Highway.  Modern industry has also taken root in this thriving city, and the Port of Yokkaichi represents the city’s openess to the world.
